Greetings citizens of the world, we are Anonymous.
More than 400 years ago, a great citizen wished to imbed the 5th of
November forever in our memory. His hope was to remind the world that
fairness, justice and freedom are more than words. They are
We invite you to join us on November 5th as part of the Operation Vendetta (#OpVendetta) - a peaceful march on government establishments across the globe.
We ask you to rise up and join millions of freedom fighters to show our corrupt governments that enough is enough!
No longer will we use corrupt systems, no longer will we allow the rich
to profit from the poor, no longer will abide by vile unwanted laws.
The time has come for us to unite. Wear a mask, it does not matter
what kind of mask. Just be anonymous and stand together with your
brothers and sisters behind an idea. For freedom.
We must forge a new beginning of peace and love. We must show governments this is our time. We must unite for a 5th of November that shall never be forgotten.
We are Anonymous. We are Legion. United as one, divided by zero. We can forgive, yet we shall never forget. Expect us!
Anonymous Italia and AntiSec-Italia, two hacktivist groups associated with the Anonymous hacker collective, have hacked and defaced four Italian healthcare organizations and leaked data from two.
The group leaked the data online on August 21 as part of an Anonymous operation named #OpSafePharma, a campaign launched only in Italy to protest the government's stance on ADHD (Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder), which involves recommendations for heavy doses of prescription medicine, even for the mildest signs of the disorder, and before any other type of alternative therapy.
The hacktivists are arguing that officials should mandate alternative therapies before medication, and not allow big pharma companies to influence doctors to prescribe heavy doses of ADHD medicine out of the gate.
#OpSafePharma launched in March 2016
The hacktivist group launched the campaign on March 16, 2016, with DDoS attacks against the Ministry of Health, the Higher Institute of Health, and numerous local health authorities.
These were followed a few days later by database breaches at AIFA (Associazione Italiana Famiglie ADHD / Italian Association of ADHD Families) and the Italian Red Cross branch.
An Anonymous member nicknamed Artek was behind these attacks, and after publishing the last two database dumps online, he was arrested by Italian police on March 30.
A second stage of the campaign, #OpSafePharma 2.0, took place on June 1 after Anonymous hackers dumped data online from the Istituto Superiore di Sanità (National Institute of Health).
#OpSafePharma 3.0 targeted four random healthcare organizations
The most recent phase of this campaign took place at the end of August, with attacks against the MEDUSA public portal of the National Institute of Health, the Azienda Ospedaliera Santa Maria clinic, the clinic of the University of Naples Federico II, and the ASL TO2 state clinic in Torino.
Hackers breached servers and defaced public websites, eventually leaking files from the last two organizations (the clinics in Naples and Torino).
Anonymous Italia advertised their data dumps on Facebook and Twitter. Cyber-security firm SenseCy was able to get hold of the data and analyze its content.
SenseCy: These are opportunistic attacks
The company says that hackers leaked around 2.5 GB of data which, at a closer inspection, included mostly internal communications, inventory documents, and employee CVs.
SenseCy says it also found some document scans for patients that applied to be treated by clinic doctors.
"Our assessment is that this latest iteration of #OperationSafePharma originates more from a one-time opportunity window that the hacktivist group AntiSec-Italia spotted in vulnerable websites associated with Italian medical centers and hospitals, than a concerted effort by multiple Anonymous-affiliated collectives to launch a massive hacktivist campaign against the Italian healthcare sector as a whole," the SenseCy team says.

Anonymous collective alongside with Ghost Squad and BannedOffline continued their attacks on the banks worldwide under the campaign named OpIcarus.
The Operation OpIcarus was resumed in March 2016, both Anonymous and Ghost Squad launched several attacks on financial institutions worldwide, including the bank of Greece, HSBC, Bank of England, Dutch Central Bank, , Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the central bank of Cyprus, and Central Bank of Guernsey and Maldives Monetary Authority (Central bank and banking regulator), and Turkish Banks.
After a temporary suspension of the attack, the hacktivists are back and hit the websites of banks in South Korea, Jordan, Montenegro and Monegasque.
“OpIcarus will continue,” announced Anonymous
The hackers launched a series of DDoS attacks that shut down the websites of the Central Bank of Jordan, Central bank of South Korea and Bank of Compagnie, Monegasque.
The HackRead.com reached one of the attackers and reported the following statement:
“Montenegro is at the heart of elite political corruption. Most of the ISIS/ISIL terrorist group looted money flows through Jordanian banks and South Korea is pretty much a US army base in the Asia-Pacific. Sites are staying offline for much longer periods now as more people are joining in the Operation. All targets so far have been central banks and no innocent people were harmed. We aim to keep it that way. OpIcarus will continue.”
A couple of days ago, Hackers claimed to have taken down the Bank of England’s internal email server as part of an operation dubbed ‘OpIcarus.’
Hackers affiliated with Anonymous also claimed to have hit several international banks last week, including the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, the central banks of Sweden, National Reserve Bank of Tonga, and Myanmar and Laos.
The hacktivist “S1ege,” who is an alleged member of the Ghost Squad crew, claimed responsibility for the attacks announcing ” an online revolution” to retaliate against the “elite banking cartels putting the world in a perpetual state of chaos.”
“The U.S. Secret Service is aware of the Internet postings of Candidate Donald Trump’s personal information. We are working with the Federal Bureau of Investigation in this matter,” Secret Service spokesman Martin Mulholland said in Friday’s statement.
Some of the information were already public on the Internet. The goal is to ridicule Donald Trump, for his hate speech. Trump does not see that all humanity is one. And FBI and Secret Service you can not arrest an idea.
Anonymous breached into the website of United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and leaked a trove of personal information of 1415 officials.
While the United Nations Climate Conference (Cop21) is taking place in Paris, France, the online hacktivist Anonymous is protesting against the arrests of peaceful protesters marching against the Climate-related policies in the country’s capital.
29 of Nov, 208 protesters were arrested by the police and this is something Anonymous is not happy with. So to mark its protest the group breached into the official website of UNFCCC exploiting simple SQL vulnerability and got accesses to a trove of personal information of registered users and officials from hundreds of countries around the world.
A hacktivist claiming to be behind the attack on the UNFCCC website revealed to Hackread that the arrest of 317 protesters in Paris provoked the attack on the UNFCCC website, revealing that the leak of data is more effective than simply defacing a site.
"We could deface the site, but that won't hurt them, we know data leak will and does so there's more to come," the Anonymous member said. "These hacks are not just against police brutality, these are also against COP21 to support Global Climate March."
